Just a random post to keep my journal active. I don't want it deleted because this is my back-up journal should something happen to my main lj one. Plus I know a lot of my friends moved over here and need this journal to find them.

Is anyone else having problems choosing userpics to use in entries? Whenever I write an entry, the option to pick an icon doesn't show up. :( If I go back and edit my entry though after it's been posted, it lets me choose and icon then, no problem. That gets kind of annoying though. ^^" Anyone else having this problem?

I was slightly worried when I couldn't get onto IJ today. After the Great LJ Blackout of 2005, I tend to freak if I can't instantly get onto my journal. Of course, after all the recent drama, the "great" blackout seems rather insignificant even though it caused much panic, confusion, and creation of backup journals at the time. This time at least I could guess at what the problem was. IJ just isn't used to this many people so they are still adjusting. I was very glad to see the issue addressed as soon as ij was back up and running and I'm also glad to know that something productive is being done to prevent future issues. Does anyone know if IJ has a page like LJ has that lets you know what's going on when the site is down?

I've noticed many people migrating this way. For a while it looked like everyone was just going to gj, but then I saw that some people have decided to only go here. So here I am with my new ij.
